It bugs us that some caterers simply create a menu and have customers pick options from that. It bugs us even more if they never change it…..That’s why we create each and every menu to suit you and your event. Your event is different than every other, your menu should be as well.

When we design a menu we strive to connect with your personal tastes, ingredients of the season, items that your guest will appreciate and a few tweaks and surprises to keep it interesting.

Menu design takes anywhere from a few days to a few months, depending on how intense you want to get. Nothing scares us so don’t be intimidated to tell us exactly what you want at your party. In our many years of experience we’ve seen and done some interesting things that have prepped us for new challenges. We’re ready to tackle yours.

Once your menu is designed and we have a close price quoted we expect a modest deposit to reserve the date and dig deep into the details. We know it can be hard to make choices (especially when everything sounds so yummy!!!) so we don’t rush the final menu decision. It’s more important to us that we get the bigger details worked out than to decide on a menu. Our tastes usually morph over time anyhow and the more we think about your event, the better the menu gets!

As for the money side, our prices are always presented as a per person price. There is never anything hidden from the price, it’s all laid out right there. Once we quote a price, it’s good for 30 days. After that it may need to be adjusted due to changing food costs, sometimes they even go down!

Speaking of money, we don’t have a dollar minimum. We do however have a “situation minimum”. Our relationship has to work well for both of us in order for everyone to be happy. If we aren’t a good fit for your event we have great relationships with other caterers and would be very happy to set you up with someone more suited to your event.

Although we are a bit biased, we know that your event is not just about the food. We’re here to help you with rentals, entertainment, venues and anything else that we can lend some expertise to.
